Plastic Bags.....

Tonight Ellie was dying to go outside with a plastic bag I had from Michael's. We couldn't understand why she wanted to go outside so bad with the bag. Apparently when Shannon takes the kids outside to do any kind of painting craft she makes them a makeshift apron with a plastic bag. It is a great idea!!! Ellie saw some paint I had on the counter and she thought we were going to do a craft so she got her plastic bag and headed outside. Jason made her the apron and she was wanting Walker to put one on also. She is really funny right now about Walker. She wants him to have whatever she has but she definitely does not want him to TAKE what she has!!! So obviously she wanted Walker to have a plastic apron!!  Hope you enjoy the pictures!

About 95% Complete

The kitchen is about 95% completed. We have to touch up on some paint and add hardware. I definitely think we need something above the refrigerator. We are very pleased with the way it turned out. These pictures don't do it justice. 

Lighting feature and a picture of the granite on the bar

The lighting feature is done. We are having the bar and the light box painted this weekend and next week. We are almost done. After this all we have left is to do the backsplash and then re-paint the overall color of the kitchen!!
